Tsultrim Namgyal was born in 1966. From Yogi Nyima Tsultrim Rinpoche he received Ngondro, general teaching of Bon and instructions on extraordinary Dzogchen. In 1984, when he was 20 years old, he abandoned worldly life and become monk. In 1986 he joined Meri monastery. There he studied philosophy with Yungdrung Ling Ponlop Kunzang Lodro. From Cherab Choden he learned different types of writings: Marying, Pungso and Lenwar and other oral teachings. From Raghi Togden and Beru Togden he received many initiations, lung and oral instructions. From Lopon Drangsong Yundrung Rinpoche he received teachings according the system of Shardza Rinpoche’s Drubdra. He received also complete teachings on Dulwa Gyedu; Dzogchen Yetri Thasel; Dragpa Korsum and many other initiations, reading transmissions and oral instructions. From Tsedrug Gompa Khenpo – Gose Tulku, he received initiation of Sekhar Chonga Wang Zhi and also received most of unique teaching of New Bon. From Khenpo Tsugpud Tsultrim he received reading transmission (lung) for Zhang Zhung Nyengyud. He also learned from him Rushen and Tsalung practices. From hermit Yeshe Gyaltsen he received many teachings and transmissions from Yogi Namkha Gyaltsen and in turn he gave him Zang Zhung Nyamgud teachings (KyaRu and MugGu).

From Khawo Togden Rinpoche he received reading transmission of Kangyur. He also received most teachings from DrubKor from him. He learned from his own father Yeshe Zopa how to perform rituals (drumming, mudras, tormas, etc). From Youngdzin Rinpoche, Khawo Togden Rinpoche and PaLa Dawa Gyaltsen Rinpoche (KhenLoPon Sum) he received 250 Drangsong vows. He taught TsaLung Tummo to students of Lama Yonten Gyatso and in Nyamsel Rithro he Taught Tummo to hermit Uri lama and followers.

After that he build retreat house and stayed there for some years. During these years he practiced the teachings he had received previously.

In 1999 he joined Triten Norbutse Drubdra. He received many teachings on the Four Cycles of Dzogchen from Youngdzin Rinpoche and Drubdra Khenpo. He also  received many teachings on Tantra and Sutra. From the time of completing the Drubdra in 2005 he continues to practice and study in Triten Norbutse Monastery. During the period of Drubdra he did service as disciplinary (geko) for Drubdra and treasurer (ngulnyer) for the Triten Norbutse Monastery. From his Holiness Khyabje Meri Trizin Rinpoche he received Sherab Lhachog Chyase Kengtse wang  and many beneficial oral instructions.

From various other teachers he received teaching om grammar, poetry, astrology and mandala (measurements).

In 2006 and 2009 he was invited abroad by Russian friends interested in Bon. On their request he taught Dzogchen, Tummo and some other teachings.
