Ryszard Adamiak
I am 51 years old and since 28 years I have been a happy husband and a father at the same time. Looking for my own spiritual path I got in touch with the buddhist teachings in '70s. In 1983 I took refuge and regularly practiced under the guidance of the only available that time Tibetan Buddhist School in Poland - Kagyu Lineage. In 1992 I was lucky to receive the first in Poland Dzogchen Teachings transmission from Namkhai Norbu Rinpoche. Thanks to him I got into the close contact with the Bon tradition.
Thanks to Tenzin Wangyal Rinpocze I understood how precious and unique is Yungdrung Bon tradition. Together with my friends I co-organized the lectures of Rinpoche in Poznań in 1997 and 1998. That way I got to know him personally. Since 1997 as an Umdze chosen by Rinpoche I have led the practices of the Bon tradition in Poznań. The crucial moment on my path was meeting H.E. Lopon Tenzin Namdak Rinpoche and receiving the transmission of Mother Tantra in 2001 and meeting H.H. Lungtok Tenpa Nyima Rinpoche, from whom I received the Dzogchen teachings in 2006. In February-March 2011 I took a part in The 2nd International Lishu Institute Retreat, which was held on the occassion of 50th birthday anniversary of Tenzin Wangyal Rinpoche. In August 2011 I became an instructor of Garuda Association (today Ligmincha Polska).
