As Bon practitioners, we are striving to attain the Mind of Enlightenment. We do prayers to generate the Mind of Enlightenment (Sem Kyed). But what is the Mind of Enlightenment? It is the attitude of being of service to all sentient beings at all times, leading a life of warm-hearted compassion to all.
But how do we transform our ordinary mind into the Mind of Enlightenment? Latri Nyima Dakpa Rinpoche will teach us how to perform this transformation, using the Four Measureless Practices:
These practices are meant to help open our inner space, to accept and treat equally all sentient beings, whether a loved one or an enemy, with equal respect, dignity, friendliness and understanding. These appear disarmingly simple, but creating them in ourselves in our daily life is difficult.
These four practices are a foundation for all further advanced practices, including Tantra and Dzogchen practices. They can also establish inner peace, calm and happiness, overcome the barriers between ourselves and others, and lead to the discovery of the truel oneness of all sentient beings.
Nyima Dakpa Rinpoche will provide detailed instructions as to how to perform these Four Measureless Practices, and how to integrate them into our daily life for our own benefit and the benefit of all sentient beings.
